My Work

I am currently available for consulting projects dealing with any of these topics: text transformation and presentation; Section 508 website accessibility audits and design; Anglo-American legal research; bibliometrics; international human rights; and, genetic genealogy.

I recently delivered a presentation at the Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction Annual Conference on "Creating Accessible Web Pages: Web Standards and Accessibility".

Previous Positions

Temporary Reference Librarian and Lecturer at the Sidney S. Silverman Library, Bergen Community College, from February through June, 2003.

Director of Electronic Research and one of four founders of a legal software development firm, August 2000 through September 2002.

User Services Coordinator at the Rutgers Law Library of the Rutgers University School of Law-Newark, 1993-2000. I served twice as the Acting Head of Computer Services for the School of Law. I was a member of the Rutgers University Libraries' Web Advisory Committee, WAC. I was a member of the Government Relations Committee of the American Association of Law Libraries 1994-97, the Technology Committee of the New Jersey Law Librarians Association 1995-97. I have been a member of the Advisory Board of the DIANA Project of the Schell Memorial Center for Human Rights at Yale Law School since 1993. I was the Liaison from the AALL Native Law Caucus to the Association of American Law Schools Section on Native American Rights.

2002-2003 Chair of the Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals Advisory Committee of the AALL.

Adjunct Visiting Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute, School of Information and Library Science, where I taught courses on Advanced On-Line Legal Research and Legal Research Methods, 1998-1999.
